As organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) who has many previous successful campaigns, the festival cannot be simple. This time, TAT doesn’t miss to catch the online trend of this Digital Age by releasing a 360º Video that takes online tourists around the event as if they are actually at Lumphini Park.
It is unlike watching a normal video in that a 360º Video allows viewers to see around the site and choose to go up or down or turn left or right themselves, both on smartphones and PCs. The video will make viewers feel excited about the event even before leaving the house. After taking a virtual tour inside Thailand Tourism Festival 2016, it is time to experience the real feelings.
Beacon Technology is everywhere

TAT's Amazing Thailand mobile application with new Beacon technology and offline map features at Tourism Thailand Festival 2016
To strengthen its leadership in Digital Marketing, TAT has utilized Beacon Technology as a new channel to communicate with the visitors and provide them with interesting information. Since their first step at the event, visitors will receive a notification message on their smartphones.
They can also view the Offline Map to see where they are in the event. With the Beacon technology installed all around the venue, visitors never miss a chance to know interesting promotions of each booth.
Visitors have to download the mobile application, “Tourism Thailand” for Thai users, and “Amazing Thailand” for foreigners, which support for both iOS and Android platforms, from AppStore and Play Store respectively. Then turn on Bluetooth on your smartphones. The function Beacon is now ready to use.
With a map on your hands, it is time to weave Tapien fish from palm leaf, join a group of Thai folk dance, eat Somtam from Isaan, or join any of plenty of activities. TAT has also included known products from five regions of Thailand and 50 districts of Bangkok at the event. Numbers of festivities, crafts and delicacies are ready to welcome visitors and take them to experience all around Thailand.
